ay Out at Esplanade - Daytime JamLindy Hoppers From Singapore And All Over The World

The members and students of Jitterbugs Swingapore (JS) are indeed an enthusiastic and supportive lot. They never fail to support the studio's event (such as this one), and especially live swing bands. Not only that. In fact, the entire Lindy Hop scene in Singapore is alive and swinging. Lindy Hoppers of all ages and from all over the world are often seen in Swing events such as these. Lindy Hop knows no boundary. |

To Lindy Hoppers, the world is their dance floor. This impromptu `performance' by the best Lindy Hoppers in town is certainly a great addition for the audience. And just if you are wondering, many of these performers are not full-time Lindy Hoppers. That makes it even more amazing. |

<< Although still new to JS, David and Grace made their debut performance with the school recently at the Thomson Jazz Club's Fascinating Rhythms concert. It is amazing how these young chaps can perfect the art of Lindy Hop. |
The couple that swings together stays together. Not only is Sing, as Sing Yuen is called, an avid Lindy Hopper. So is her husband. >> |
<< And if you are dying now to learn a step or two, let me teach you one. The step on your left is known as the Charleston. But if you really wanna learn, ask the lady, Lim Sing Yuen. She is the founder of JS. |
But it started to drizzle. Thank God, the rain stopped shortly and the sky became cloudy with occasional cool breezes to cool the Lindy Hoppers who were panting and sizzling from the fiery swings. Now you may be asking, "But where is all the kungfu flying always associated with Lindy Hop?" Well, you will not be disappointed. Voila! Here they are!
